More than a few on there.... roi was very low.

I'm sure most of Manning's is legit commercials. Or at least of this list, he is the only I recall having a commercial.

SCar .... $5.5m for two players and a losing season. Ouch.

Looky there, we actually agree on something
They probably got that from some random FB post. It’s from a gambling sight. But once again like the Jackson Arnold thread our gullible uninformed 6packers gonna believe anything. Oh and if it discredits MSU the 17ing 6packers gonna double up run with it and say. Look here we broke po ol mithippi Tate. Again that’s isn’t even true

Anyone That belibes these deals are public knowledge probably are flat earthers. Not one collective is going to release figures. We might have the most gullible fan base in the country
So do you believe they make more or less?

It's an interesting talking point, nothing more. Nobody is belittling State fans.

And regardless if you believe it or not, the Carson Beck figure is widely regarded as accurate and what caused Nico to get sideways with Tennessee. Also it was commonly known Nico was making 2m per year at UT. So all these seem to be inline with that news.

A lot less than what’s being reported. It’s clickbait

Btw, co-worker, his son is a 2nd string DL at ND. My co-worker said his son makes 6 figures. That's all he will tell me.

Oh, co-worker, said the 2024 QB at Louisville, made $1m-ish and had a paid for apartment.

Some former Indiana OL, that is on barstool. It is out there somewhere on social media. He says he made $300,000.

A co-worker of mine said yesterday that she had bought her house in 2019 for $300,000 and that it's worth $800,000 now. I went and looked on Zillow and it is worth $500,000.

People lie, embellish, and flat out make shlt up at times. Especially about things that are hard to prove either way.

Not disputing your overall point that people lie and embellish, but Zillow Zestimate is about the worst possible source of home value.

Zillow has no clue what changes or improvements people do to their homes in between purchases, and they are sketchy at best in accounting for home value changes due to school district zoning / rezoning, and other factors.

Bruh. 500K vs. 800K. I'm not talking about 20K of bathroom remodeling.

aGAIN, I said in the very onset I wasn’t disputing your point. It’s likely accurate.

But to be clear, Zillow sucks at this stuff. I just looked up my own house. It’s listed at a price that is $125,000 less than what the city tax assessor used for the value when setting the property tax, and a bare minimum of probably $150k~$175k less than market value. The tax assessed value should be the floor for what Zillow uses as estimation, its 17ing publicly available information. Pretty inexcusable for them to not be in the ballpark of that.

The $300k difference you mention sounds a bit extreme, but if its an older home in an established, desirable neighborhood, hasn’t been sold since 2019-2020 or so, AND it got a substantial renovation / update since last listing, it’s certainly possible to be legit.

I have a rental property in starkville. Zillow says its worth $350,000. I'd be selling that SOB in a heart beat if someone offered $265,000. Likely closer to $245,000.

$350,000 compared to $245,000 ? Thats off by 42% you brain surgeon you!
