Top 5: Top 5 Teams for the 2015 season

Linked is the final 2014 EDGYTIM polls as a reference if needed. Who are the preseason Top 5 returning teams in Illinois?

#1 HF: 9 starters back-the qb, 2 backs, froma team that came a couple yards from winning 8A

#2 MC: 14 starters back from a team who turned it around-lost to PC's best team in 10 years and PA state champ for 3 of 5 losses


#3 LA: beat PC, Lost to eventual 8A champ by 3, had a 9-0 soph team

as far as top 10 caliber teams in no particular order probly Montini, JC, Simeon, GW, Brook. I think top 2 is pretty clear though. Not sure what North in 7/8A will produce ie LZ,Stevenson, DVC I don't know who will emerge and I think too many good teams are bunched in it now and it will actually hinder them come playoff time with injuries etc.

Gotta disagree with you Dean, we will/should not be preseason top anything. Too much turnover. Start with GBW... I'm guessing 6-3 or 5-4

Hinsdale Central will be top 5 by end of season...you heard it here first.

I predict LZ will be back next year (in the top 15) and the year after could be THE year.

I am pretty confident u will see an 8A semi of MC v HF and LA back there again in North
