Read the article. They only had 5 games rated, most of which were against big-name teams (Ohio State, Michigan, etc.). If Northwestern vs. Minnesota was a rated game, they probably would be ranked below us.

Texas is surprisingly low, but I suppose they're only on the Longhorn Network for home games, and very few people get that network.

There are a few things that jump off the page at me. First of all Alabama has an average of 6,455,833. Total population of Alabama = 4,822,000. Wow

Also, UM would probably be in the 30's if the entire MSU fan base wasn't so obsessed with them**

Texas is surprisingly low, but I suppose they're only on the Longhorn Network for home games, and very few people get that network.

Someone over on SECRant was comparing the ratings for A&M and Texas, and according to what I read, the ratings for every LHN game was approximately 130k people.
