We just plain don't have a ton of money compared to the rest of the SEC and a lot of other mid tier teams in other conferences. I know a lot of people think momentum on the football field is the be all end all of recruiting but it isn't. There are a lot of other factors, and a lot of times you have to spend money to get the advantage. If we can raise our recruiting budget and get inside the Top 50 while continuing to put a competitive product on the field, I think going forward we will be in very good shape.

I would imagine we pay the lowest for season tickets in the SEC. And I think student tickets should go up as well. There is high demand for those, and 5 bucks a ticket is not nearly enough. If they raise them to 10 bucksa ticket they will have zero problems selling the 10,000 they want, especially with how much enrollment has increased.

In a 7 home game year, 5 bucks a ticket gets us about $350,000 a year from students. 10 bucks a ticket gets us $700,000 a year. Back to back winning seasons and bowl games to me is a no brainer ticket price increase across the board.
