This is a must read... great coverage of the first days of camp.

I would be surprised if anyone covered camp as well as they did.

Carmon is leaps and bounds better than where he was during the spring. His technique and overall understanding of the offense and what to do is much improved. He won't be the Derek Sherrod that fans are used to but I think as the season progresses Carmon will turn into a solid offensive lineman.

The difference between where he was in the spring and where he is now is both tangible (about 20 pounds lost) and visible, as he rarely got beat and held his own against defensive tackles Fletcher Cox and Josh Boyd in full pads.
Hopefully, Coach34 and these guys are right about him.

I am glad to see something about Brandon Wilson. Whitley is going to be a real special player for us. He has really good range and shows that he really knows when to time his jump unlike some safeties we have had in the past.

How about all the Tyler Russell praise in that article. Not bad for a career backup**

that has to defend Morrow, Bumphis and Carr on the same field. Not to mention Green, Ballard and Relf. We are going to have a lot of legit weapons. It's up to the O-line now to git r done.

I found it interesting that they all mentioned Matt Wells as the top RS defensive player.

Also glad to see a good report on Rob Elliott.

First, I would like it notated that I would like to change "my boy" pick to Kendrick Market (redshirt this year)for the remainer of his tenure. I had a wooly pick of Vick. I apologize for any confusion that this/I may have caused. He's not mentioned here, but just looking at his film makes me know I am going to love this guy.

Secondly,my pick for freshman of the year in "ya boy" was P.J. Jones. A spot where we needed young guys to step up quick, and it looks like he is. I was hoping he would be enough of a monster that could contribute this year. Long way to go but a good start. Apparently, he is going to have lots of competition for that award from Joe Morrow, but I am totally ok having that problem.
