I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you and completely understand where you and the rest of people are coming from. Just like anything else you cant control whatever everyone says or does. I will leave it at this...I think Badke does things the right way.

I believe you believe that, people have "evidence" that they believe disproves that but for your own sake it's best to just let it go. You'll never convince people here, I only say this because I thin you're a good dude and I don't want to see you beat your head against the wall every time it comes up here.

Well I appreciate your concern but I will stand up for what and who I believe in. I would expect any person of integrity to do the same. And I'm not trying to convince people just stating facts and my beliefs. Go Crusaders

I don't think badke does it any different then any other coach in the ccl. the sad part is now a days you can only sell the school so much because the kids/ parents ego need to be stroked.

How is Larry going to be next year? I predicted a Rita victory over Viking this year and was wrong. I am going to make the same prediction for next year. Rita 45 - Larry 28.

I heard a very creepy MC negative recruiting story at the Prep Bowl.

I would guess that is across the board and is sour grapes when you lose out as MC did to some of the Rice skill guys this year that previously went to MC. MC is not used to that in regard to the south suburb corridor.

If you consider kids from the southside catholic schools the driver, MC, Rita, Rice and Marist all seemed to have their share of these kids playing for them.

It was actually at MC and my guess is there are two sides to the story.

My point though is that anyone thinking negative recruiting is only a Rice thing is pretty naive although I personally think Rita does not delve into that and could be what is hurting them.

If I was Rice, I'd stress that our school is in a very safe neighborhood. The problem is that Rice flat-out calls Rita an unsafe neighborhood, which is total BS. When is the last incident involving a Rita kid getting hurt in the neighborhood? The SR campus is insulated from the neighborhood and the surrounding blocks are commercial as opposed to residential.

I am not sure if I believe what you are saying as coming directly from Rice. Perhaps it is. But I wish that you and everyone else that has a hard-on for Rice would just be quiet for a minute.

At the same time, I wish that all of these "Rice Fans" like Krock the House would sit back for a second and just look in the mirror and recognize that they are, indeed, the reincarnate of Hawk Harrelson, i.e.-the Homer of all Homers. Stop.

These guys - Lenti, Kuska and Badke - all have their work cut out for them. It's as competitive as it has ever been to get kids to go to their schools with staggering tuition. Just let it go. We are all in the same boat. I am a friend of Badke, and I can say that I don't see him doing anything that the other coaches are doing. It is just the nature of the beast. And in a shrinking pool that involves the CCL Blue, along with Marist, and now Larry, it continues to shrink. And, no need to throw Segroves into any of this.

Just stop. Edgy, can you kill this thread?

This thread would have been fine if it stayed at what schools are going to be good in 2017, and didn't stray off on a tangent.

Any second now i can feel it coming.
