Top Mecklenburg Co games to see for 10/24

Here are the ones I see that may be good games to see for this next Friday

7-1 Myers Park vs 8-0 Hough ( I feel like this one might be the best of all Meck. Co games to watch )
5-3 Mallard Creek vs 4-4 Butler ( I like to see MC get back on track. They don’t seem like they are playing as good like they have been since earlier in the season)
5-2 Country Day vs 7-1 Charlotte Latin

I will add a big out of State game of interest is 6-2 Dorman vs 6-2 Gaffney. One of those games I wouldn’t mind seeing.

Anyone know what’s up with Mallard Creek? Definitely surprised at the Indy score.

They should beat Butler because they are bigger and deeper. This is a growing pain year for Butler, I expect them to be pretty good next year if Hales sticks around

If Hales is around a few years Butler will be a state title contender. He can flat out coach and is a great guy with a great staff.

-MC will be just fine. Their schedule has been beyond brutal. Sometimes you can have physical wear and tear and in this case its mental wear and tear. The WC loss took a lot out of them IMHO. Indy is really good. Coach McFadden rightly noted that Hough and WC are just two steps above everyone in the city/state right now. We underestimated Indy, and the wear and tear of conference. Indy will be a 7A title contender.

-WC gave up more points in game one then the rest of the season combined. SP only score was a 95 yard pick 6. This WC defense may be their best ever. '

-Hough is going to steamroll MP. Hough has had some easy games where good sportsmanship and a running clock got them. They wont have to be nice vs. MP. Hough/WC western conference final 8A

The good news is Hough and West Charlotte didn’t have to beat up on each other during conference play then have to play again in the playoffs.

West Charlotte has only been challenged for a half against Butler and a few quarters against Mallard Creek during conference play. Hopefully they should be relatively healthy come playoff time.
