Top Starting job battles across the state.

I'm interested to see if Justin Lynch wins the job for big brother Jordan's Mt. Carmel team. You know MC loves their two year starters and Justin's a great dual-sport athlete with a Temple offer. Hard to think he won't be the guy Week 1 starter but MC always seems to have more than 1 capable guy...
It’s his job for the next two years unless he gets injured or really craps the bed which I don’t think he will do. He’ll have some growing pains right out of gate with the schedule but if he stays healthy I think by the end of the year he will really be in the zone and next year will be in one of the States best. The RPO really fits his style.
If he gets hurt this it will be a tough year for MC. The senior QB left for Brother Rice after camp last season to be their back up... Couple decent athletes can fill in if he goes down but they would have to lean heavily on Odeluga and the running game, which would be a shame since they have some really talented receivers. Soph QB is solid but needs a lot of time.

Per Edgy, looks like Perrion beat out Grogan for LA’s starting QB post. Both are terrific! Grogan’s dad was my favorite coach at LA. Great guy!
Looks like Marist has an ongoing QB battle.

Well he can’t go anywhere else and play this year (unless it’s out of state) now that he has been to a fall practice so it would be next year that he left and the only point in leaving for next year would be to give them the middle finger for not getting the job this year since he’d be a lock for the job next year with the other guy being a senior this season.
Mikesell is a better QB right now IMO. Marist should play Jackson as a skill player on O, and have him play QB next year. Then you get best of both. Jackson played a little slot WR in the playoff game vs BR last year so we know he can pull it off. We will see what Ron Dawczak does real real soon.
