Because he showed a lot of improvement last year and Brooks was in the way. He can get to the rim and explode and his stroke looks really good. He has all the tools. Now he can hone in on them. He won't be getting yanked for Brooks either. I'm very optimistic about him. Could be wrong though, but I believe in him.If Toppin is not even getting an invite, why is it that everyone concludes he is going to "shine" or be some superstar? I am not saying that can't happen, but so far from what has been observed on the court is Brooks beat him out for that spot, he sometimes looked good and other times didn't.
