I am not sure Croom did, and I think this might have been one of the problems . I think it would be idiotic. But, I think that is a possibility. And I think that if he did cheat, there is a high probability that he didn't know how to do it and did it sparingly. And just to be clear, this isn't some defense of MSU virtue or a defense of Croom. It's more a commentary on our idiocy.

program as far as head coaches go. But, what I am saying is that Croom's head games he played with himself about "doing it the right way" led to far less of that type thing than there should have been.

"If they have their hand out, they can go play some place else." That type of thing would fit squarely with his stubbornness and that "doing it the right way" ********.
