We have dodged them all so far in Shelby Co but it looks like more coming out of MS and out of Demopolis area that could track towards Shelby Co.

I walked out to this view up my street at 6 this morning. That's 10 trees between me and the stop sign. We and our neighbors escaped major home damage, but folks about a block up didn't.
Yeah, I know it's not a tornado, but when you walk out the door and see 50+ trees down within easy sight....well, it's freaky. The random dog running down the street just added to the post-apocalyptic feel.

being reported as well. It appears a lot of the deaths are from the Pleasant Grove area. That tornado in the Tuscaloosa video traveled non-stop through Bessemer, Pleasant Grove, North B'ham, Gardendale, and on up through Trussville. It was a MASSIVE tornado!!

Many smaller towns that can't be accessed right now in AL will probably find some very bad things tomorrow once the sun comes out. Prayers go out to everyone tonight. This was a very bad night for a lot of people.

I would have had to edit the audio. It would have been full of F-bombs. Amazing footage. Balls of steel or simply stupid, I can't make up my mind.

Most scared I've ever been in my life. . .and wasn't trying to get close...just happened on one near Monticello on 84 a couple of years ago.

my dad's vet clinic (just minor damage) is in old Alberta City, probably focus any efforts I can provide around there. we're taking our hands and a chainsaw. I figure my folk's church (canterbury episcopal) will has a volunteer group assembled as well.
