There's a warning in east central Mississippi, according to the Weather Channel. Any local reports of damage or even if it's really a tornado?

Neither 4 or 9 have picked up debris on radar.

9 is saying chance of it increasing now along ms388 east of Brooksville.

One killed last night in Fultondale, AL, which is just north of B'ham. Apparently the youngster and his family had done just what they were supposed to do - went to the basement - but a tree fell on the house. Happened about 10:30. Probably the same group of storms that went through Macon.

It was the exact same storm. It had been trying its best to produce a tornado since Louisville, but could never quite get over the hump. Once it got into Alabama it finally got that last little nudge it needed. I got into position to watch it cross 45 south of Brooksville and it was a mean storm.

What all does it do beyond what a person can find on the common online sites?

It's got the standard reflectivity and velocity radars plus all the dual pol radar and precip type depiction. You can gps ping your location on the radar screen to see where you are in relation to the storm...or rotation within the storm. For an additional $9.99/year you can get the pro version that will give you dual pane to show two radar types at once, plus lightning strike locations. There is some more stuff, too, but that's the gist of it.

RadarScope Pro is what a good many Meteorologists use for their personal weather radar. I have even seen a debris ball on several tornadoes show up on mine when I had it on Super Res Velocity. I have the Radarscope Pro Tier 1, which is $9.95 per year. Check the link out, and they also have some YouTube videos.
