What a reward for winning season! If I was Buffalo or U Conn, I'd say no thanks. But then again, I'm sure they are used to freezing their nuts off.

In August.

But it makes sense for Buffalo to go there. It's not far and they actually do alot of advertising in Toronto. And also, they're from Buffalo. It's not like the cold is going to be a big shock. Also, Isn't the game in the Skydome?

Playing in the Skydome wouldn't be bad. It is certainly not like a trip to Florida for New Years Day, but it probably isn't a disappointment for Buffalo considering this is their first bowl.

1. Game played in Canada but no 55 yard line, no 12th man, no receivers getting a running start prior to the snap. WTF?

2. Today's telecast easily smashes the record for most shots of pick-up hockey action ever shown during a football game.

3. If you thought our special teams were bad, you should check out UConn's special teams. 2 muffed punts and 1 muffed kickoff gave Buffalo 17 points. And for good measure, on 1 of the muffed punts they roughed the punter which would have given Buffalo a 1st down. And on their only long kick return of the day, they were called for holding.

4. Buffalo is a really, really bad team. And the MAC is a really, really bad conference.

As someone has mentioned, Toronto is a truly awesome city and the Skydome is a great venue to watch a sporting event. I've seen the Blue Jays play there and stayed in the Skydome Hotel (I was NOT involved in the sex act during a game that everyone in the stadium could see several years ago though).

And as an aside, my cousin was the 17th woman finisher in the 2007 Toronto Marathon .
