She's 27. She's ready for you to make a decision, whatever that may be.

It seems like a tough decision for you because you're having to be unselfish for the first time (?) in your life. No matter what you decide, you have to decide something . . . for her sake. You can't play around. You have to commit to one lifestyle or the other. You already know this. Good luck.

Key word is "commit". That's what marriage is. If I was speaking to you about my daughter, I'd ask you this, "Are you ready to commit to her?" "Stick with her when the kids come and the real world kicks in?" The marriage and family stuff is hard work, but it's worth it.

If you're not ready to commit don't go.

winner, winner chicken dinner. My now legal wife and I have had to "give up" a lot of things in order to be together and to build a family together. None of it compared with what we gained with each other. Money and career come and go. Always choose the girl.

Awesome. I hope it's KFC Nashville Hot Chicken. That schizz-nit is legit.

Get real dude. You should do her a favor and set her free.

Being serious, I would pray man. Try that and maybe the answer will come.

Ram, you sure would be lucky with OP as a son in law. He could take her blood pressure while making her a Red Headed Slut.

Can you imagine the Facebook chatter if some mom chose to raise her kids in *gasp*...key west?!!
Well if you knew what the "conchs" were like down here and the ambition to really go out and better themselves, you may understand. The large majority never leave the island, try and get a city/county job so they can retire asap and do as little as possible. Part of the reason when you visit you'll run into very few of them. The ones that do leave come back with a degree and revert back to what the rest of their counterparts did in the first place.

I also have seen my 40+ year old friends that are going to be lifers here and I really don't want to be like most of them as much as I like them. Most of them are getting tossed on the regular and not really saving the bazillions they are making.

What kind of work is he doing on this boat?

Charter fishing, commercial fishing, bang boat?
Parasail, which for the single guys is pretty much a bang boat. Never let your daughters go unattended on any boat ride...EVER.

Serious question, and I'm not making fun. Do straight male bartenders flirt with gay dudes to get better tips (money, not penis tips LOL)

I'm actually rootin' for Rogue, I hope he knocks the broad up. Makes her have to stay and raise that Key West baby on bottomless tequilas. She'll prolly hate'em at first, but she'll learn to like it over time.

Rogue just don't get caught with cocaine. She'll have legal reasons to be in Tampa quicker than a Jet Blue flight.

Women are the most wonderful things in our world. Take some advice from an old man. If one loves you marry her, and get the heck out of there. KW is great, nice place to visit, but if it's made you what some here think you take that girl and go.

You know you want to leave as you have already said this. Why not split the time in the middle. Stay for another year, let the relationship progress. If it goes south, you still have your tv sitcom situation, otherwise you can murse it up in Tampa.

Don't listen to these jack wagons, they don't know what they're talking about. What you need to do is flip that ish. Tell her you're moving her to Jamaica. That's the spot to settle in, not Key West.

Sure, she may have to call your bluff and you might have to move there and give up your steady stream of cawks for a while, but by going on the offensive you can then compromise and stay in KW for the next five years.

But seriously. If you are so good at what you do that you make triple figures before the first comma, then do it again when you move to Tampa or whatever. Might take a while to get back to where you are but maybe it will be worth it in the long run. Don't let anyone tell you that you cant do something.

Not actually Tampa, because touch that, it's more Clearwater, Indian Rocks, Largo, St. Pete area.

Been over it all with the fam on my trip home. Decision is coming down the pipe.

Because she's leaving pronto and not willing to stay for another year. Long distance, no thanks. If she would stay one more year I'd leave no problem after that but that's not happening. I'm just hoping it takes a few months to sell the house.

Serious question, Rogue. How much crap do/will you have to go through to just drop right back into nursing if you move? Are you expected to keep up with new trends and advancements in the field, or can you just hit the ground running? I'd hate not really wanting to move AND have to sit through a bunch of classes to do a job I'm not really that interested in.

I left my dream job in Key West and moved to Tampa for a butterface. Good call, OP. This really needs deep introspection. What could possible go wrong with you working horrendous hours as a male nurse and her, at home with her great body and so-so face wanting desperately to feel attractive? She's going to sit there thinking "hey, my male nurse is going to be home in 16 hours boy do I feel like a woman" or is she going to be banging half of Tampa within a month?

Kept up with my CEs so I'm good, just finding a job after being out for a while will be a little tough. But her mother has great standing in a hospital where we'd be moving to so I doubt it would be much of a problem.

Z, no not worried about that at all. I don't date whores as it seems you must've in the past/currently. Sorry about that heartbreak bub. Time heals all wounds though man, you'll be alright.

Rouge, dude... you are a parasailing hobo in Key West getting your anus pummeled by fat pasty white northern liberals so you can live off their tips and free bar pretzels. You stumbled into this butterface in a Denny's at 2am so now you figure you'll make your move and you've even got her mommy roped into helping you get a job... hell, your whole spiel here in this thread has been so desperate that I hated to pile on but you are practically begging for it.

Admit it, you're a two-bit grifter that figures your meal ticket has finally sailed in and you're looking to cash in because that's what penniless beach combing semi homeless rubes like you do. I guess it beats sleeping on newspapers and flashing your tanned *** at fishing boat tourists so hey, knock yourself out. I'm sure everyone that reads this thread realizes what a winner you are for trotting your entire life out in front of a message board just because you sold a line to your butterfaced little harlot that thinks it's a challenge to flip a nancy boy on her vacation before heading back to Tampa to show off her prize catch. Yeah, you done well, boy.
