Ouch, Dig Dirkler.
First thing that hit OP's mind: Swallowing v. spitting
She's 27. She's ready for you to make a decision, whatever that may be.
It seems like a tough decision for you because you're having to be unselfish for the first time (?) in your life. No matter what you decide, you have to decide something . . . for her sake. You can't play around. You have to commit to one lifestyle or the other. You already know this. Good luck.
First thing that hit their mind. Pavement.First thing that hit my mind. bridge jumpers.
winner, winner chicken dinner. My now legal wife and I have had to "give up" a lot of things in order to be together and to build a family together. None of it compared with what we gained with each other. Money and career come and go. Always choose the girl.
Key word is "commit". That's what marriage is. If I was speaking to you about my daughter, I'd ask you this, "Are you ready to commit to her?" "Stick with her when the kids come and the real world kicks in?" The marriage and family stuff is hard work, but it's worth it.
If you're not ready to commit don't go.
Well if you knew what the "conchs" were like down here and the ambition to really go out and better themselves, you may understand. The large majority never leave the island, try and get a city/county job so they can retire asap and do as little as possible. Part of the reason when you visit you'll run into very few of them. The ones that do leave come back with a degree and revert back to what the rest of their counterparts did in the first place. Can you imagine the Facebook chatter if some mom chose to raise her kids in *gasp*...key west?!!
Parasail, which for the single guys is pretty much a bang boat. Never let your daughters go unattended on any boat ride...EVER.What kind of work is he doing on this boat?
Charter fishing, commercial fishing, bang boat?
Serious question, and I'm not making fun. Do straight male bartenders flirt with gay dudes to get better tips (money, not penis tips LOL)
Pretty sure this is :100points:5 years from now, you will regret whichever decision you made.

I also have seen my 40+ year old friends that are going to be lifers here and I really don't want to be like most of them as much as I like them. Most of them are getting tossed on the regular and not really saving the bazillions they are making.

Women are the most wonderful things in our world. Take some advice from an old man. If one loves you marry her, and get the heck out of there. KW is great, nice place to visit, but if it's made you what some here think you take that girl and go.

Being serious, I would pray man. Try that and maybe the answer will come.
I can't believe you guys haven't figured this out yet. OP is dating Carly Fiorina. So she's a butter face.
Because she's leaving pronto and not willing to stay for another year. Long distance, no thanks. If she would stay one more year I'd leave no problem after that but that's not happening. I'm just hoping it takes a few months to sell the house. Why not split the time in the middle. Stay for another year, let the relationship progress. If it goes south, you still have your tv sitcom situation.
Jimmy Buffett approves thisYou know what OP....
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But hell, it's your own damn fault
