That is a pretty crazy score. Iowa State struggled mightily with Arkansas State today. Why the 17 were they playing in Jonesboro??
Probably a two for one deal. Oklahoma played at Temple today.
Same reason we’ve played in Troy AL and Hattiesburg MS

Okie-Temple was a home & home. Most schools have to do these. It’s not just us. I think going forward with the 9-game schedule + a P4 game, we’ll see very few SEC teams playing road games vs G5 teams. We have several scheduled the next few years. Will be interesting to see if we buy them out or play a 6-game home schedule.
Same can be said of Oklahoma St and Virginia Tech. Long falls for some programs.
Not the school, but their football program probably. If you have ever been to the area you would know why. I’ve never been to Pullman itself but I’ve been very close driving from Spokane to Lewiston. Pullman really is in the middle of nowhere. We just THINK Starkville is. Y'all know my feelings on Mike Leach, but what he did there is pretty much a miracle.
That and not being in a power conference anymore and being in literally the middle of nowhere. Thats tough to recruit.
I think this is moreso the reason, and that is evidenced by how Oregon State is also struggling big time.
