the guy from lampre got directly in his lane and tried to cut off cavandish. maybe a reprimand, but to be completely dismissed is garbage. plus, its an american team so the frenchies don't like team columbia anyway.

I tend to agree with you. Looking at an overhead view, Renshaw veered slightly left. So if you head but someone veering left, they are pretty dang close to you.
I personally think it's a screw job!

for originality. How many times do you see someone on a bike repeatedly head-butt another guy on a bike while all wearing spandex.

I laughed my *** off at the entire thing.

The head butt thing was stupid. All you have to do is lean into them. They rub shoulders all the time in final sprints. Simply holding his line would have worked. He then came off his line to release Cav, cut off Tyler Farrar, and slowed down. It's one thing to fight for position to get your lead out train in position. It's another to cut off another teams sprinter and sabotage their stage finish. The peloton would handled this appropriately, though. The DQ was a bit much, but I guess with all the crashes this year, they figured they would send some sort of message.

He needs to be dismissed. Fines? Eh, so what. Who cares if you relegate his time to the back of the pack. He's not a GC contender and is only on the team to lead out Cavendish.

What he did was stupid and dangerous. Dean had led Farrar up to Cavendish's wheel, held his line, and was passing Rehshaw. What he wanted was a line of him, Renshaw, Cav, Farrar. He would have held pace and moved back to let Renshaw lead out Cav. The idea was probably to give Farrar two guys in front to draft off of, saving energy for what would hopefully be a last 100m pass of Cavendish. Smart move that would have basically had another team doing the work for your sprinter. Renshaw head butted him to slow him down when he realized he was getting passed. Then head butted twice more to knock Dean completely back. He claims Dean stuck out his elbow and that if he had done the same, everyone would have crashed. That's bogus. Guys bump each other all them time in the sprints, and Dean hardly was looking to make contact. He was just making a pass.

What he did next was worse. He glanced over his shoulder, saw Farrar, and moved into his line. He almost forced him into the barricade which really would have caused a massive crash. It was a total ***** move. I almost think they had to dismiss him because there would certainly be retaliation. That kind of crap isn't wanted or needed in the Tour, and he needed to be sent home.

Awesome attack by Contador. Got ten seconds back just because he felt like it. He was almost saying "I don't need these seconds on this stage, but I'm going to take them anyway just to remind you that I'm better than you."

This Tour is over.

The guy that won yesterday, sucked his thumb, after winning, any significance to that?

That was weird.</p>
That was Sergio Paulinho on Stage 10. Dedication thing to his 8 month old daughter.

right after his crash is crazy. His shoulder looks like it's completely 17'd. I just don't see how these guys can continue to ride like they do after going down like that.
