Odds are on San Diego or Boise, with an outside shot at Dallas. Nashville is going to be really tough to get, and here's why:
Charlotte is a lock to get UVA and either Duke / UNC.
Detroit is a lock to get MSU and either Purdue or Xavier.
Pittsburgh is a lock to get Nova and either purdue or Xavier.
Nashville will likely get Duke / UNC and either Cincy, Auburn, or UT. I personally think it will be UT as they will fill it up with orange. Auburn is fading, and I don't think UC has the same draw or following to Nashville. SO, I think UC gets sent to Wichita or Dallas and UT gets nashville. UK would probably have to win the SECT and beat UF in order to have a chance to pass UT and Auburn in the pecking order.
Yep I agree with this.
Tho I think it could happen. As a 4 seed we could take out Auburn in the SEC Semis and then beat UT in the finals. I think that coupled with a win at UF could get us a 3 and could get us to Nashville.
Not very likely, but certainly possible
No way we get a 3. You guys need to stop doing this to yourselves every year.
I disagree, they mis-seed teams every single year. Not impossible they could give us a major bump if we close strong. Especially with the emphasis on the silly quadrant victories. Which I despise, but will actually help us this year.
And lest we forget...the NCAA is all about the $$$...UK fans will fill Bridgestone better than UNC, Duke, or UT.
