strictly reading the quote posted by HD6, and without ever reading anything from Paul Jones, it sounds to me as if Paul saw the tweet where Townsend says he is in MS, remembered that there are rumors about MSU hiring him, and put 2 and 2 together to form that sentence/statement.

I'm not saying he is or isn't just answering this particular question.
