An Ole Miss fan posted a question below on whether or not we would change programs. I laughed at that and thought to myself, either he is completely delusional, or it is a State fan posing as an Ole Miss fan.
Who in their right mind would accept that offer? MSU has had more success across the board that Ole Miss in every sport.
One thing I have learned about OM fans, moreso than any other school, is their HUGE inferiority complex. This isn't a sweeping generalization, this is an entrenched brainwashed fact. They have lied to themselves so much over the years that it has actually become fact to most of them. From the NC's to their facilities, to academics, to culture (they have no idea what this even means), to the Harvard of the south bs, to the colors being from yale and harvard to the LSU rivalry (did you look at their messageboards during the LSU week?) much more conversation about MSU, to Oxford to everything.
They act like MSU fans are more redneck or backwoods than them when ANY other logical person sees MSU as being a much more cultured campus and student body. I find that MSU students are well grounded, more mature, more worldly and well traveled. Our school is slightly ahead of them in so many ways. Our entrence requirements are higher. Our ACT scores are better. We graduate more. Our graduates make a higher average salary. Our alumni have more money, etc... All of the info was linked sometime last year on Genespage and I don't care to find it, I'm just venting.
I am not saying that Ole Miss is a bad school at all. It has its place as we do ours. I have family members that attended. The only problem with OM is the attitude of the fanbase.
