I read in an article that there is a new tradition at Davis Wade of singing "Don't Stop Believing," at the beginning of the Fourth Quarter. I missed the last two games because of soccer tournaments (I know, I know ...), and I vaguely remember that happening at the Southern game. Anyway, I have to say that sounds pretty cool ... kinda like Sweet Caroline at Fenway: completely organic, kinda cheesy, but fun too.

It really was awesome this week. Nice that the students were still there to belt it out.

I loved it, and I hope we keep it going.

It was great. I am also liking I'm Shipping up to Boston, by the Dropkick Murphy's as the runout music.

I love the idea.

They have been doing this since the first game right? I also like "hail state" after first down MSU. They both definitely work better with a full student section, which we should have except for Homecoming.

They just need to eliminate the commercial so we can actually get through the whole dang song! Otherwise it was awesome.

New Tradition? Isn't that a contradiction in terms

I was at State when the song first came out in 1981. The song reminds me too much of the Dick Pace Screwjob Egg Bowl.
If you're going to use a 1980's HairBand Power Ballad, I prefer this:

Best wave I've ever seen at a Miss State sporting event....

The atmosphere had a great energy about it but it almost felt like we knew we could hold back because of how big this week is going to be. Saturday will be unlike any game in DWS obviously. I don't think we know how big it's gna be to be
