A big get for Payne. White is listed as a guard for USC so he can play the SG or SF role. Good handles, mid range game, slashing, and rebounding ability. Not so great 3 point shooting or A/TO ratio.
Athletically this group the staff has put together is Louisville basketball. White fits the mold.
The best thing about this roster is practice will be extremely competitive. They weren’t last year. Heard it over and over from Luke Hancock. No way that isn’t the case with class.

The key will be how many years they can keep the core together, or at least the key parts. That's the challenge in this era but if the kids take to it then things can gradually turn around. This is a real young roster.
No need to worry about having the same roster year year not going to happen. Until they really put some serious rules on this transfer portal and NIL.
