Unbeknownst to me at the time, I had the unexpected pleasure of seeing one of MSU's 2013 football commits play baseball this past weekend in Huntsville. My son and I went to see the playoff double-header between Oxford and Huntsville. Oxford had this huge player on first, who was easily the biggest guy on either team, but was very athletic for his size. In the first game, he hit 3 home-runs and was intentionally walked his next 3 at bats. I made a mental note to myself to look up this behemoth when I got home and to my surprise, found out that he was an MSU commit. Apparently, he's grey-shirting this season, if I'm reading the forwhomthecowbelltolls article correctly. He's also going to play baseball at State.
