It sounds like at this point he is still a non qualifier with the NCAA if he is still taking the ACT.

Sean Dockery had to take the ACT as well. Just depends on transcripts more than anything.
There is a sliding scale that the NCAA uses, GPA/ACT. Everyone has to take the ACT. If scores don't align with GPA he is a non qualifier until that score is reached. I would say at this point his GPA is what it is. He will need to score better on ACT.

Laettner15, yes, it has. My feelings on him in other areas have not changed, but my feelings on our chances of his playing here, changed. And yea, that's all i'll comment on at this point.

Yay!!! I've been waiting to hear this! I like it thanks for sharing show

Completely understand and thank you for providing what you did!

I completely understand that you and a couple other posters on here can't comment a lot when it comes to certain topics and I completely understand and respect that

If Duvall commits to Duke with what they already have coming and for whom ever sticks around could get really nasty on the hardwood. I don't like thinking about next year whenever Duke is still in the thick of things this year,,,,but you cant help but peek ahead a little when you have the potential players that Duke could have next year.

Show, I work directly with the NCAA Eligibility Center as part of my job. There is lots of info (academically) that is told to me as well as directly by college staff. I too do not give out info.
With that said, I've never said Duval would not pick Duke but there are working pieces here that will allow him to have choices. I do think he is enjoying the process with a new feeling of optimism. Again, I'm not saying he's not picking Duke.

I feel like this year is enough reason to not get your hopes about anything. But I agree, when Duke gets/develops an elite point guard they're a scary team. Really hoping we can snag Duvall.

I think we have a great shot at Duval and Knox, but who really knows. I don't want to cross the bridge before we get to it, cause I was expecting this team to be blowing people out and be somethig special and that hasn't happened...YET...anyway, but next year could be something to be excited about if Luke and Bolden are back, and a healthy Jeter.

We've seemed to get what we've wanted recently but that could change. I agree with Crazie though. This team was "supposed" to be something special but that hasn't happened yet. Hopefully this team is starting to peak at the right time.

Yeah this roller coaster of a season has changed how I will look at future recruiting classes. You just never know how the team will turn out until you see them on the floor. I remember before the season a lot of us wondered if we would be able to run a 9 or 10 man rotation with the amount of talent on the roster, but this late into February we're primarily only playing 6 guys. Who would have guessed that!

This game tonight shows why I'm tempering my expectations for next year, regardless of who is on the roster.

I think a lot of people should have seen the 6/7 man rotation coming. It happens every year and this is why we are seeing so many kids transfer

Just curious how Waters asking for his release impacts our recruiting. I believe his name was brought up a while back.
