The Trib ranked IC #4 in its final rankings. You have to be kidding me. I give IC credit for having a great year, but to think they are the 4th best team in the Chicago area is plain silly. That would be like ranking Mt Union #4 in the BCS rankings.

Mount Union is pretty good but....I don;t disagree and I basically have disagreed with the paper rankers all season so
ICCP was awfully good. If the only game you saw of theirs was the title game, they played extremely vanilla. The QB although not as big as Rowell, was almost as fast and even more elusive. Speed and size everywhere, Witt may disagree with me, but they were like watching a top 5A or 6A team, and I think they would have made a serious run in either of those classes and a possible 5A title.
If I'd think you could certainly make a case for top 10, although I do agree that 4 is a little high.

Could not be further from the truth...just wasn't sure how well they would compete with the huge amount of strong 8A teams at the time was all. If it was all about clicks all I need to do is post public/private and retire on an island.
