Trinity run rules McCracken to win State Tourney

Trinity goes 41 - 2 on the season to win its first state baseball championship.

One loss to a KY team (Desales) was avenged. Basically a machine. Much like this years 6A state football champion Rocks.

Now the Rocks have won state championships in 10 KHSAA sports.

Question....why doesnt UK recruit Trinity harder?

Two straight championship game losses and five straight semi-final appearances with no title for McCracken. At least they can claim to be the best public school team in the State.

Having 1300 boys helps. Plus the CSAA has catholic school sports teams from 1st through 8th grade in the major sports. So its a great feeder system. It is very hard to nake most of the teams. Football however does not cut but with so many players you could go four years and not step on the field.
