I always love it when a recruit says, "A lot of hard work is ahead." Awesome pick up!

All the sites rank him as the best pro-style QB out of the state of California. Ummm, we just beat out all the big boys in California and the rest of the country for this kid, as Donald Trump would say, this is huuuuuge!!

Would have been a surprise if he committed elsewhere. He and KJJ seem to have done everything but move into the dorms.

If you watch his HUDL film, it is pretty obvious a lot of time won't need to be spent on his footwork and body position. The short to mid-range stuff looks effortless and on the long balls he looks like an ace pitcher throwing a fast ball.

Unless I'm reading his Rivals profile wrong, none of the California schools offered him. Doesn't really matter, though, because he is a solid QB prospect.

And some of you guys second guessed dude last night, he was dead on with his info and i am sorry a head of time for the guys who didnt believe you. There now way anyone can hate on this committment. Oh wait....hes to skinny, hes white, he didn't commit right away, hes not a 5 star QB and hes no a run first QB so we can run the ball 95 % of the time ( did i miss anything guys and gals?)!

Congrats Riley and Langsdorf. Bo and Beck wouldnt of been able to hold Gebbias jock strap. Im all Rrriiilllleeeeyyyeeeddd up. Glad we have these coaches and future looks bright. Gi Big Red!!!

Langsdorf NFL connections are huge and paying big dividends. Nebraska was dominant in the past running a niche offense of run heavy option football. Now with all the spread fast paced college offenses the pro style offenses are not as prevalent. At the end of the day recruits want to play in the NFL. Running an offense that prepares you for the NFL is a big recruiting plus.

It was reported on another site that USC tried to make a late push for him (like they did for POB). But too little , too late

This! And we have a great academic program with tutors and rules. S+C is probably second to none or attaining it. Even our assistant coaches are becoming destinations.

Riley's recruiting positioning is so spot on and these recruits are practically reading it back to the media when they commit. They all talk about going to a place to be developed as men.

Pelini would have never sniffed players of this caliber because frankly he wanted guys he knew he could mentally manipulate. These kind of players saw a raging maniac in their living room and never gave him consideration. I, for one, am thrilled to see this caliber of player coming here for all the right reasons.

Really? One wonders how some of you know this stuff...

Brian Christopherson ‏@HuskerExtraBC Patrick O'Brien last class, Tristan Gebbia this class. Arguably the two best QBs out of Cali in the two most recent cycles are #Huskers.

Careful, I got reprimanded for suggesting that the other day when people were lamenting Coan to Wiscy. I said it was probably more important to our recruiting to land the 2 best QBs out of CA in back to back years than to get a QB firm a lightly recruited area.

This guy has proven himself against far better competition.

We should see the first true QB battle since Newcombe/Crouch in a couple of years. I have a good feeling that this class is going to be something special.

How is this anything other than bad news? Really good receiver and qb recruits? This only proves that Riley wants to throw the ball. He doesn't care about Nebraska football, he just wants to make us Oregon State East . . . and collect a check . . . and employ his buddies . . . and smile.
