Since OM thinks of themselves as a QB U...
When was the last time that "the" starting QB at OM ,did not transfer in from some other school, ...by this I mean start more that about three games.
Who was it?
What year?

This is not intended as a flame, but a good question.

He doesn't exactly fit your criteria, but close enough.

His 2005 junior campaign saw him play in four games, starting the final three, as he connected on 46 of his 79 pass attempts for 511 yards and two TDs, with five interceptions.

Stellar numbers there. You must be talking to different OM fans than the ones I know if they call us QB U. </p>

I knew some had started other games, but not many.
But generally Schaffer in 06 , 07,...Snead 08, 09, and Masoli 2010 were considered the QB's. And this will likely be true for about the next two years or so.

Really it was the entire 3 headed monster. Spurlock, Lane, and Flatt started all of our games in 2004 and 2005.

I think you said more than 3 starts, but Nathan Stanley started a game last year, and he's the only other one.

In 2006 and 2007, Schaeffer and Adams drew all the starts. Schaffer obviously by way of UT and College of the Sequoias. In 2008 and 2009, Snead drew all of the starts by way of Texas obviously. In 2010, other than the one start by Stanley, it was Masoli by way of Oregon.

This year, it's looking like it'll be Brunetti by way of WVU or possibly Mackey. Though Mackey did go to a Juco, he was a signee of ours out of high school.

I haven't seen anyone call us QB U, but if we're talking just in the state of Mississippi I guess we're QB U by default, tallest midget and all.

the trivia question has been answered. We're not WR U because we have never been able to throw the ball worth a 17. Maybe we should be RB U ala
