I've said all along that he would never play for us. I don't think much has changed. I just want this drama to be over.

not that he had much chance at the beginning anyways. No ways he gets cleared though....I mean look what they did to Dez Bryant for telling one little lie to them about meeting up with Deion Sanders.

Ive been saying the entire time that Sidney will play. He wouldnt have enrolled at Mississippi State and started practicing with the team if he thought there was no chance of him playing at all. He will be playing for the Bulldogs by December IMO.

I think he does play, we'll be finding out soon. I also think there is a chance if he is cleared that he might even be here for two seasons.

So hypothetically speaking, if we got some highly qualified statistician in there to crunch the numbers, and he looked Sidney in the eye and said 'you have a 3.45% chance of beating this thing and actually being cleared to play' you still think he'd be here? Because I know I wouldn't...

All hyperbole aside, my point is your assertion that he wouldn't come here if he didn't have a chance of playing is garbage, because his alternative was basically to admit guilt by not attempting to take the 'next logical step' SOMEWHERE and enroll in school. They are, and in my opinion have been since the beginning of this bruhaha, just trying to save face.

Get ready for Europe, Renardo...

Obviously he knows if he's done something wrong. But I mean as far as knowing what the NCAA will do. But I'm sure Stans and the lawyer both told him they'd get him cleared, and what else does he have to go on?

...for the Sidneys of the world.

If Ole Miss can play a football player who literally can not read or write, allowing Sidney to play @MSU is a no-brainer.

Plus the NCAA allowing Sidney to play will be the NCAA's "make-up call" as pertains to the whole Jackie Sherril/ Rich Johanningmeier fiasco.

Having said that, I would not count on Sidney being eligible until sometime in 2010.

Basketball season...flip a coin.
I say yes. Then he's one-and-done. Or is it 2/3 and done in this case?
