When my dad, who always defends Trump and thinks he won three elections, is pissed about the post, it is a bad look.

Dumb AF. And I'm not trying to justify it, but I don't see him being able to make Ai videos and then post it. Gotta be a dubmass intern. Matter of fact, I don't see him posting anything. I envision him sharing a notepad entries with an intern, and them copy and pasting it.

I agree with you, I think he gets final approval, but I don't see him as the type that watches more than 20 seconds of a video.

That seem to me to be the biggest difference in this and the 1st term. The people he has working for him this time around - from intern all the way up to the Cabinet (and VP) - are less intelligent, more unhinged, and have less judgement. For every sensible thing he does, we have to endure half a dozen screw ups. Its almost like Jeff Lebby is in the Oval Office now....

I work in sales and interact with many people. 95% of the people I work with, and my customers, are republicans/Trump supporters. These are people who are not on message boards or social media. They are pissed at the way things are going. Between Venezuela, Greenland, the economy tanking(not the stock market), and Esptien files. You add stuff like this, going to war with Tom Massie, and the you don't need guns remark. The average American/republican are pissed, and it is setting up for a blue wave, not because people are voting blue, but they are just pissed and will not show up to vote red. You are seeing it happen in races across the country right now.

He needs to get his head out of his azz and start running the country.

Which in that case, it's still; 100% on him. What mickey mouse administration, allows interns to post *hit to his official social media page w/out an approval of the post first? The ONLY way he can blame a staffer is to name the staffer and terminate said person immediately. If that doesn't happen today, then guess what? it was Trump who posted it or at least Trump who told someone to post it. Some said it in another post, but this time it seems EVERYONE around him is about as clueless as he is. This entire administration is a damn joke. And yes, i voted for him. He's a baffoon who is about to prevent any other good, qualified conservative leader from picking up the office when he exits. OH - and like clockwork, he now wants to name Penn Station after himself. Jesus itjust keeps getting worse.

I voted for him the first two times but voted for the Libertarian Party in 2024. I think his first term was great, because he had good people in his ear. In my eyes, this is turning into Biden 2.0, with him claiming everything is great when it is not. He is more worried about buildings then running the nation. My Dad is the biggest Trump guy I know, and he thinks a Blue Wave is coming.

This may not be allowed but every time he takes one foot forward he puts a foot and his fist in his mouth. Anything he has done will be erased in the midterm and next presidential election.
What recent step has he taken forward? Trump 2.0 has been a Hindenburg level disaster.

Full disclosure. I voted for him three times.

He's right. The only way it doesn't happen IMO is the most qualified conservative leaders/candidates, begin to create some distance between themselves and Trump. The one's who don't, will go down with him.

It's almost like he's a deep state operative sent to destroy the Republican Party from within. The Republican Party is getting further and further away from what made it attractive for me. Trump has turned it into a nationalist, jingoistic, populist party. And the way some Evangelical Christians cling to Trump and treat him like a savior really turns my stomach. I do like some of his policies and he can get things done, but he does about 10 terrible things to make up for the one good thing because he is a narcissistic bully with a God complex.

We need Tom Massie to run. The guy is one of the few who has the balls to stand up, and we have Trump taking shots at him at the prayer breakfast.

Trump is Trump.
My fear is that we haven’t seen nothing yet. All his yes men and yes women can do whatever he says without fear. If they are convicted of any crimes, the power of the pen will grant a full pardon.
I’ve voted red beginning with Nixon, who would have thought that he was squeaky clean compared to what we have now. The whole Trump family will never have to work( whatever they consider work) again after they steal all of us blind.

Trump dropping rage bait like he holds stock in Facebook and Twitter (he does)

Folks rallying online trying to call Trump out and hurt him politically does not work, FYI. It actually helps him. Another reason why he regularly does this.

If the Vance/Rubio ticket doesn’t win in 2028, he 100% isn’t stepping down, bet money on it now.

“That’s why he does it to rile people up”
“Ragebait is good for him”
So stupid
so far beneath what the office should be
We haven't had a president that wasn't beneath what the office should be since George HW Bush. Funny that you pick today to be outraged by it.

It’s definitely not nearly the black eye on the White House the way that tan suit Obama wore was.*****

I’m so tired of him getting a free pass for doing embarrassing things while at the same time making the executive branch have damn near unlimited power while claiming conservatism. Just because you like where he stands doesn’t mean you can ignore everything he does and be okay with empowering the federal government and specifically the presidency to the degree he has. You can’t just put the toothpaste back in the tube when Newsome or whoever assumes the throne

True, absolutely beneath what the office should be. But it works, however low and disappointing it is.

Sadly, I am indifferent about him and his methods. As are many, which is a problem he continues to try to solve.

The video was stupid. Hopefully it wasn't actually him but some rouge staffer who had access to his account. There's no way he could possibly make as many X posts as he does every day.

Trump does some cringy things though.

Trump 2.0 has been abysmal and Republicans are going to get massacred in the midterms and beyond because of it. Equal parts frustrating and disappointing, and some parts scary given the Dem that wins 2028 will likely turn this country into modern day England.

I wonder how different this term goes if Charlie Kirk isn’t assassinated? We’ll never know but I do think he left a big vacuum.

I hope you are sitting down. He's "not a racist" but this is normal behavior. You know the travel ban that we have in place. Guess what? All 75 countries are majority brown skinned people. What a coincidence!!!! He, his did do a "pause" this year on immigrant-visa issuance to 8 Eastern Europe companies, but it doesn't cancel tourist/student visas, so not the same as the ban. Now he DID give white South Africans an expedited refugee program and fast track to citizenship because you know they've been subjected to racial persecution.

Couple that with him having slavery exhibits removed from all over, and you can tell he's "not racist". He's just whitewashing our history for very good MAGA reasons.

So if you are keeping score, and this might not be everything:

1. Restoring Confederate names to U.S. military bases (2025)

2. Executive Order 14253—directing removal of content that describes racial injustice, including slavery (2025)

3. Removal of slavery exhibits at Independence Hall / President’s House Site (2025)

4. Forced review and removal of National Park Service content referencing slavery, Native American genocide, or racial injustice (2025)

5. Removal of slavery exhibits at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (2025)

6. Removal of the “Scourged Back” photograph (2025)

7. Cutting federal funding to the Whitney Plantation (2025)

8. Ordering federal agencies to remove Black history and slavery content by a deadline (Sept. 2025)

9. Fast‑tracking refugee status for white South Africans only (2025)

I know you must be thinking...well I'll be John Brown!!!***
