just a nice celebrity with free time on his hands? Nah, Commander In Chief, who shouldn't even really have time for tweeting, stops by a wedding at his club to pose for pictures. Those wedding packages just went up $20-$30 bucks a head! This was a shrewd business move, imo.

It's odd with Trump how fine the line is......between ego driven celebrity and public servant.....between intelligent billionaire and trust fund fool.....between patriot and treasonous businessman.

Meh. You sound like all the old Obama bashers that went nuts when he would play golf or go see a play on Broadway. POTUS is still a person that needs their own time. Besides, the deep state cucks can hold things together just fine.

It just bothers me that he is using the office to advance his own businesses like he is. Mar a Lago, the NJ joint....he is jacking those prices up substantially.

I have no problem with him getting away. I don't mind him chillin' out maxin' relaxin' or even shootin' some b-ball outside the school. But the man doesn't need to milk this thing for EVERY cent he can.

On paper your statement is probably 100% correct. Just listening to his son in an interview he gave the other day gives me some room to doubt the he, POTUS, is being hands off in the businesses.

It's all about donnie. He is out for himself. He is egotistical. (biggest election win in history, biggest inauguration crowd in history, most accomplished with maybe the exception of FDR) Of course he is running his businesses.

All of those businesses have people who run them. The family manages the whole deal but they dont manage the day to day of all their properties.

I'm just saying....people will pay more per head to book their wedding at that joint....just in hopes that the President shows up and wows the guests. Guaranteed! It's like an orange glowing, moving ice sculpture with the Presidential seal.....it's an add on no other package can offer.

If they were friends of friends or something, I wouldn't care. But I think he's just doing what a smart businessman would do.....I want his attention towards the nation 24/7, and when it's not.....it should be on family.

I think this is just more backlash on an uncontrollable President. This is truly the first time in my understanding of history there was someone in office that had "**** you" money and wasn't able to be effectively leveraged by outside interests or the prospects of the future.

Sad. Leading is putting in place foreign and domestic policy and action that projects power, influences peace, stimulates economic growth, and defends/places American interests first above the rest of the world.

Basically, leading is what we on the right feel was lacking in the last administration.

Which involves, I would imagine, meeting with and discussing policy initiatives with various cabinet and sub cabinet members. Reading extensive briefs and detailed memos on many issues that concern our nation from domestic economic policy to military Intel. Then meeting with men and women in a position to advise you on the best actions to take going forward. Actions that would be implemented through meeting with those that put those actions in play within the various fields of concern. No? Let's see.....meetings, reading, meetings, speeches.

I wasn't on here during the Obama years....but like I said, take vacations with your family, go to Camp David and relax while having light schedule days, play golf. But don't be overtly parlaying the position into personal business gains through actions like these. I mean, I'm a little pissed cause it's so smart, but I just hate that so many act like he's doing this out of self sacrificing love of the nation.
