Well per a new Rasmussen poll, 57% of Americans support Trump's recent EO...and really isn't that what primarily matters.

You're right, our #1 and #3 trading partners don't matter at all. Illegal immigration from south of our border (Mexico) means nothing which is why DJT wants to spend billions to extend a wall there and increase surveillance on that border.

Wasn't the poll from last year or early January? It certainly is from respondents since the EO was signed. And I'm sure this will start a worthless argument, but Rasmussen is hot garbage.
And I will be willing to bet that a poll that is done a little more scientific and a few days out from the action will give different results. It is just like the junk these wingnuts posted the idiot's favorability immediately after the inaugation. A few days later, down 20 points.

I doubt that many in Canada hate him. I really like Canada and have spent a lot of vacation and business time there. If you think this latest spat with Trump is indicative of our Canadian support ......you're not in touch with reality.
The poll had the field dates of 1/25 - 1/26. Not sure how immediate polls are any good. Just like I don't think polls taken during the height of protests over the weekend would be very reliable.

Really anxious to see how congress works with him and what impact his actions have on their coming elections. His EO's do have purpose, but are largely unfocused, overreactionary and speculative. What good does a wall really do and is 40-60B better spent elsewhere? No Biff just wants a wall. Same for the the 2 for 1 deal, eye candy for people who don't know anything about regs.
I would say there is a distinct dislike among many here for him, although I have a few friends who like his point of view on many things. It is no secret I can't stand the guy, however in no way does opinion on Trump here indicate how we (the majority) feel about America or Americans....the two countries will work through differences as usual and remain friends. There are far more commonalities than differences imo...
Yes there are. I know how you feel about Trump and thats OK with me. I also think you know how I felt about Hillary Clinton and thats why I voted for Trump. Do I agree with some of the stupid **** Trump has and is doing......absolutely not !!! But I will not let that those disagreements come between fact and fiction. I certainly disagreed with many of President Obama's policies and stances...but I never let that manifest into the hatred and disrespect that I see many on here exhibit toward President Trump.
Yep...I know how you feel about her for sure....and IMO she is a borderline crook. I did not envy your options in this election cycle whatsoever. I was hoping Johnson might gain more traction. He seemed pretty reasonable on the surface to me...but then he didn't know of Aleppo. Man did that ever seem take the wind outta his sails...oh well, the die has been cast and people certainly seem engaged regardless...
