This doesn't affect me personally but think about your post for a minute. Your partisanship is more important than cancer patients being covered by insurance.
If that's true, then it will have consequences at midterms if not before.is a f'ucking liar.

Quit calling it insurance, if you want all diseases covered by it. Call it what it is, a mandate. It's no longer insurance.
It is my responsibility to cover my sins (and stupidity) in the world, not everyone else's. And likewise, I don't want to cover your's, or anyone else's. Tough love, for sure. But straighten up your act, quit drinking/drugging/getting shot, and maybe you won't be bankrupt or dead.
Sure, and an easy one to make. Biff promised pre-existing conditions relentlessly. No brainer.Another prediction?

I haven't kept up with news on this, busy with work stuff. Is it that the 8B just falls short? The AMA came out against it today. I'll be surprised if it passes the Senate in its current form.

I'm really not sure about that post. I respect most of your posts, but I think you might be a little clouded on this one. How can Trump loyalists talk about how many good people are out of work in one breath, then talk about how those without health coverage are in that condition through their own fault? Good people will lose coverage. Insurance companies have had the upper hand for too long. The cost of people without coverage will trickle up more than Trumps economic plan will trickle down, imo.Quit calling it insurance, if you want all diseases covered by it. you've had 8 years to watch a liar and an idiot mess up this country....now sit back and watch while a real president gets things doneis a f'ucking liar.

What sin did a child born with a congenital heart defect commit? How are they supposed to acquire coverage as an adult?
I do agree with you that we should drop the idea of "insurance" and continue with developing a model for providing health care.

It's just about winningFurther, Republicans complain that the only jobs created under Obama were minimum wage/part time and the unemployment rate is higher than what is reported (none of which are entirely true but do have elements of truth in them), but then in the same breath claim anyone uninsured is in that position due to their own failings. They now support a plan that will make it likely that someone who hits a long period of unemployment/no health insurance will not only have to pay a 30% surcharge when they can access coverage again, but also possibly have medical needs that will be considered preexisting conditions if they cropped up during their lack of coverage.
I am trying to wrap my head around how they consider bill this a solution, and my only conclusion is that anyone who does is a moron, an *******, or both.
The level of stupidity is astounding. I knew some people were really stupid, but I had no idea it was to this level. Actually believing that all diseases are the result of someone's "sins, stupidity or poor lifestyle."
Isn't it up to each State to determine the fate of pre-existing conditions?is a f'ucking liar.

So there is a method to continue pre-existing conditions in this bill (as it is currently written)? And they now have the opportunity to say "no, f'uck you". Do you think they (insurance companies) are going to say "yes, we'll cover pre-existing conditions?"
no but I DID watch my wife's premiums triple under the last idiotAre you from 8 years into the future?
no but I DID watch my wife's premiums triple under the last idiot
no but I DID watch my wife's premiums triple under the last idiot
that is NOT an issue with the insurance company. Premiums were raised because of obamacare and my wife lost her guaranteed stipend because of obamacare...the county admitted it.....and yes somebody (the democrats) demanded they raise premiums...that's the only way they thought their system would work....it obviously didn'tThat's an issue with the insurance company ... nobody demanded that they raise premiums. Mine went down slightly and I live in this country too
A solution? The bottom line is tha obamacare was not dying....it was dead. Complaining about this bill is like bitching about water damage because those ******* fireman put that damn fire out.Further, Republicans complain that the only jobs created under Obama were minimum wage/part time and the unemployment rate is higher than what is reported (none of which are entirely true but do have elements of truth in them), but then in the same breath claim anyone uninsured is in that position due to their own failings.
