We all wondered the same things at different points this season.
5 games in , RU faithful still don't know what we will be. We have seen glimpses from many guys at times
Davis again ripping the rest of the team at halftime. Said there is a big dropoff on this team after Bailey and Harper. Actually was taken aback at his comments. He seemed to really dislike us lol.
We take low IQ shots on a regular basis and they are totally self-inflicted. ND isn't forcing us into low percentage shots. We willingly take them. We still have players that don't know their role. So frustrating.

Seth Davis is also a dick. it's way too early to assess our team and the parts that need to come together. in fact, we saw a different starting five in the second half that led us to a win. Seth can go pound sand.

Seth wasnt entirely wrong based on the first five games and even up to half where he did mention Jordan pitching in.
For this team to win, they need more than Ace/Dylan. They got it in big spots from J Will, JD, and Acuff last night.

ND was 70th in the country and 2nd best player got hurt 2 minutes in and did not return.
This was a big win for us, but certainly a game you can win with two players, especially since we won with 1!
We are then looking at this mostly from an offensive standpoint
Without knowing the Notre Dame roster, I would assume there is talent there, enough to either beat us, or make it very difficult, with or without a key player
Especially since we have not looked good against supposed lesser talented teams
I am a bit more encouraged right now, hoping to give Alabama a decent game, even if a loss

We won many games with Ron and Geo doing the bulk of scoring. I’ll give you a hint how you do it. Defense, rebounding and causing turnovers.

This game makes Davis’ point. Harper was phenomenal, Bailey was excellent, but not much else. Derkack couldn’t hit the big 3 and couldn’t stop the Bama G’s. Davis, Achuff, Martini, Hayes were all invisible. Ogbole played relatively well, Williams contributed, and I’ll give Sommerville a pass as a Fr. We need more than just Dylan and Ace if we’re going to be able to win big games this season.
