They won't win a game in the West next year. I think they also lose to BYU, Georgia, and possibly Fresnot St since that game is away. That's 4-8 with wins over UK, La Tech, Vandy and Southern Illinois, and from this past season we know even Vandy is a toss up.

Right now, they have no clue who is going to be playing QB. They have no clue what type of offense they will be running. They are replacing a lot of ****** players on defense with redshirt freshmen and JUCOs. Oh yeah, and they still have Tyrone Nix as a DC.

I see the floor being 3-9 and the ceiling being 5-7.

I think they'll win 4 or 5 games this fall, but this fall could very easily be worse for them than last fall was.

This how they have the west shaking out
1. Alabama
2. Ole Miss
3. LSU
4. Auburn
5. Mississippi State
6. Arkansas

With a good shot at a three way tie at the top!!!!!

Houston Nutt's daughter's radio show on that station in the morning, you're missing probably the highest measure possible for unintentional comedy. I truly thought it was a joke the first time I came across it.

I don't know where he gets the 11-1 from but most normal typical OM fans are looking for 5-6 wins and praying for 7. I know ya'll think BYU and Fresno are losses but I want to see the BYU team play in Oxford in 95 degree heat with 90% humidity and Fresno had no answer for the running game last year and they are losing double digit starters. Both of those games are games we can win. I am hoping for all 4 of the OCC and then 2 SEC wins. That is what a typical OM fan expects.

You know, a team from out west cannot possibly win a game in Mississippi humidity, right?

I agree on Fresno. I wasn't surprised when y'all beat them last year and wouldn't be surprised by you guys beating them again.

but lets face it that '03 state team was one of the worst ya'll have ever put on the field. I think we will be improved over last year because of the coaching changes and the fact everyone seems to be on the same page so far. I don't expect a huge differance just win the games we are suppose to and be in the others so if the chance presents itself maybe we can take one we aren't suppose to.

But the fact Tyrone Nix is still your DC means you did not make nearly enough coaching changes. I dont think you will have problems scoring points. Bolden is a solid back. Your OL will be improved with another year under their belt. And one of the 19 QBs you have on your roster will inevitabely step up. But, your defense could very well be worse. You guys lost a lot of starters off an alreadypretty ****** defense.

was the HC it evened the playing field. I never said a team from the west can't win in the south I am simple pointing out the fact is makes it harder to deal with. I have heard several coachs comment on how much hotter it seemed when playing a SEC team in early Sept. It is no differant the the comparisons the NFL teams make when going to play in Green Bay or Chicago in the winter.

1) Many of their players go on missions which makes them 2 years older than ours.

2) Their players are generally more intelligent than the crop we bring in on a year to year basis as an SEC school.

I don't know that I like the chances of our 19 year olds against their 23 year olds even if we are more athletic. We'll see.

That is also 2 years they are not involved in football and working out. If intelligence mattered more than athletics then Harvard and Yale would be playing for the national championship every year.

A bizarre, insane prediction on a show I've never heard of and don't listen to. March and you're listening to a Rebel show talk about football.

#winning.

Any fan on either side of the fence who predicts an 11-1 season is either A- dumb ***, B- someone from the other side pretending to be something he's not, or C- simply trying to get something like this thread started in which case he succeeded.

Given the returning players and overall state of each program, neither is in a position to predict such a bold record. Does anyone know the last time either school won 11 games in a season?

As a realistic rebel I see anywhere from 4-7 wins next season, a lot of turnover and soul-searching that needs to be done between the '10 rebels and '11 rebels.
