While I don't understand the press conference, everyone and their mother assumed he was going to flip to Bama. Not that I'm condoning it, but, I think the kid just wanted a little attention. He was our first commit of the 2014 class and didn't get to create a spectacle apparently. Hell, he took to twitter the last few days and wrote cryptic messages and then deleted them all in order to drum up interest.

I know yall want it to be some massive Ole Miss conspiracy, but I would highly doubt this was some orchestrated event. Most of us sweated this out (and more than a few assumed he was gone). There are some that even think that CJ committed to us but will actually sign papers with Bama.

Ummm, no. Most people knew exactly what you guys were doing with Hampton. More of that ghey "let's act like you drop OM for the best program in the country, then recommit to OM to gain attention" garbage. The funny thing is, Freeze does this **** just to try and make things look awesome to you dumbasses, and you idiots fall for it every time. You'll win the presses, and lose the games. Rinse, repeat. I know you guys can't do this (although you personally are typically fairly reasonable), but if you would step back and see what everyone else sees....you would be embarassed. Not about the talent, but about the "Look at ME! Look at Me!" Attitude your program has. February is the biggest month in Ole miss sports and OM football...and there aren't even any games.

Dodson did almost the identical thing last year except he never decommitted like Hampton. May have even been around the same time last year as well but not sure about that. Two years in a row but UM had not part in either of those staged events? Chris Jones signing day thing was a school function with ALL of the players from his school that were signing that day. The school set that up, not Chris Jones.
