A long time bear qb commit from TN, Cj Beathard, has decommitted and will sign with Iowa. Liggins is their only hope. the last high school QB they signed was Raymond Cotton in 09 and of coarse he transferred out.

The last HS QB they signed that got significant playing time and wasn't bumped for some transfer hail mary of a recruit was...Michael Spulock (who was recruited when Eli was playing).
