...next week to confirm the black bears to be the WORSE team in the conference. I hope their train-wreck program doesn't win another game the rest of the year. They really need to lose to La Tach to send the black bear faithful in to complete suicide watch. But, still these stupid *** tv commentators keep saying quote: "Nutt is a great coach" and "Nixx is a great football coach" These tv guys have got to be some of the dumbest, dubmasses ever to walk the face of the earth if they have not seen what Nutt and Nixx has done the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, they will probably beat them worse than we did. UM is not that bad, and I am not confident that we will prevail in the Egg Bowl. A true freshman, cold off the bench, went 26-33 against us tonight. We kept everyone pretty well hemmed up, but I don't like the matchup with Mackey, Bolden, Scott, Brassel, et al.

we kept them in check and played to prevent the big play...it was 28-9 at the end of 3 Q's...this game was never close- the coaches dont give a **** about point spreads- they wanted to run the clock, avoid injuries, and get back home

When they made him coach-in-waiting, I just shook my head wondering why. I'm still wondering. You hate to think he was hired just because they wanted to appear "progressive" by having the 2nd black coach in the SEC, but I honestly can't think of any other reason to hire him.

the whole 'keeping it going thing' when coaches leave on good terms or retire. Say, if Mullen leaves after a 10-3 season, I'd be game to hire an assistant. UK seemingly had things going the right way. Who knows, maybe they just hired the wrong assistant. Stanford's doing OK right now, but I'm guessing they drop off without Luck. But then again, smaller programs are much harder to maintain.

Rumor I heard from a connected Bear last night was, the total buyout for Boone, Nutt, and staff was north of 8 Million, (most tied to Nutt), and no way they can afford to buyout all and still hire a good HC. Boone will go but wants his buyout plus his own sky box, this is the hold up apparently. Regardless of how they finish look for Nutt to be back but have a revamped staff with Burns as the DC, Lee as the oc, Markuson remains the OL coach but both Nix bro's gone.

TSUN isn't that bad and will kill KY. I think we outsmarted ourselves with all the blitzes we kept trying when our front four was dominating. Why we did not play coverage more I am not sure. Offensively we played very conservatively in the second half. Basically, I think at halftime we turned the game over to the defense; that conservative offensive approach in the second half almost got us into trouble. TSUN will pile it on KY. As for the Egg Bowl, it will be a battle, but I think we will prevail.
