I know this is the season of giving but Tulane's defense is going a bit overboard.
I’m not watching and won’t watch JMU either. No interest in these teams.
The G6 team should be the reward for the 1 seed…..in a 16 team playoff. Maybe the 2 seed too.

I still don’t understand why the committee wanted this matchup again. They could have easily adjusted things to avoid it.
That’s what I don’t understand. They lost their coach and moved up in the seeding order.

James Madison was a better team than Tulane in metrics and record, and should have gone to Oxford while Tulane went out to Oregon.
Not that it would have made any difference, but it's yet another reason why the committee should release rankings one time at the end of the year, rather than locking them into weekly rankings where how a team started matters a lot to their future rankings.

Ole Miss continues their charmed season with an easy as 17 schedule. Even their playoff game is the easiest one over a crappy G5 team with a coach who is already coaching Florida.

They are talking up Golding as he's a second coming of Nick Saban, too. I forgot which announcer it was but he basically made excuses for OM fans and the way they acted when Kiffin left, saying they "had every right to act like that" or something to that extent. Many of them were literally wishing Kiffin would die or have something bad happen to him. They must drop lots of cash to control the narrative like they do. It would be worldwide news if State fans acted like that.

There needs to be a G5 playoff. And keep them out of the P4. And I’m against the structured inclusiveness of the playoff too. Should be the top # of teams regardless of conference, and I think the field should be set prior to conference championship games. But that’s just me.
Behind closed doors its a battle of broadcast rights. ESPN shouldn’t own sec, ACC and 60% of the big 12. ND has a deal with nbc and that’s where the monkey business started. G5 games are just a bye for two teams.
This is why I wish they'd gone to 16 teams if they were going to expand. No one gets a true bye, but Indiana and Ohio St would've gotten Tulane and JMU.
Tulane and JMU have zero business being in the CFP. Both of the games are garbage. Vandy at Oregon or ND at the Bears. Better than this shlt show.
Absolute insanity we have a committee that ranked JMU above TN and Mizzou. Forget how they got into the playoff that’s the most disconcerting thing out there.
I know. That’s why I said forget how they got here. The ranking is just so dumb. If they had ranked them where they should have- outside the top 25 they are still gonna be in this year.
