the OM sideline is going to tighten up quite a bit. Even if OM wins a close game, they have demonstrated that they are simply not a good team that got upset last week.
...OM will lose this game, mainly because I don't think Tulane could score more than 24 points against an empty field, let alone the Rebs. But yeah, if you're an Ole Miss fan, you've got to be seriously, seriously concerned at this point.
what I've been saying for the past 6 months to my red and blue acquaintances. I just didn't expect them to show how horrible they are this early in the season. Tulane is the worst team in Conference USA, and maybe the entire FBS, and they have clearly had their chances against UM. They won 3 games last year. I don't see any for sure wins the rest of the season with this defense and offensive line.
The real question is, how does Stanley feel after all of this? Team is playing horrid and you lost your job to a thug transfer, who is obviously not making a huge impact.
Made a crack about the Dome being empty, and reminded everyone that OM was down 21 at the half last week too. I don't know how anyone can say OM won that game. They survived. You shouldn't have to force a sack-fumble with a minute left to secure a win against a C-USA team.
Actually maybe this year, that's the only way OM is going to win.
