Tulsa at Rice Game Thread

[TU_BLA]

4 poor play calls that Baylor bailed the team out on. Dexter just needs to sit the bench and go away.... Stick with Baylor

Sort of unfair to pin this on Williams. We’re rolling and then all of a sudden let’s change things and insert a guy that’s cold with no feel for the rhythm of the game. That’s on the coaches

[loudmouth]

We are an FCS school that caught OSU napping

Yup

I can see that... the play calls that put Willimas in those situations was the actual problem.

[TU1NNJ]

Rice blitzer bails us out.

[TU 1978]

Targeting

[TU 1978]

I thought that the ejected player had to leave the field. Is that no longer the case?

[TulsaAM]

Okay, I knew what that play was better than the TE that missed the block did

[TU 1978]

Why does Rice have a train in their stadium

[TU_BLA]

I’m done. Maybe my cynical *** turning the game off will change their fortune

[TU1NNJ]

1 of 3 drives for a score for TU
Rice 3 for 3

[Gmoney4WW]

That was pass interfeence.

[TU1NNJ]

That was pass interfeence.

Yes but on the road it wasn’t going to be called because of where the pass was located.

[TU1NNJ]

Their QB‘s long strides runs right out of our arm tackling

[TulsaAM]

This is coaching... this team has been coached into three losses in a row. Lab gave up with the Arkansas game and the team knew it, and they stopped believing in him...

Or, we have 12 injuries to our best players and we are basically an FCS team

[TU Pilot]

No. Remember when Graham used to have the defense practice against these types of offenses without a football to teach the assignment side of things? It’s like no one has any eye discipline whatsoever and just go chasing the ball and the next thing you know…the ball is gone and we’re tackling air.

I DO remember that. Why would that not still be a thing...

No he sucks and shouldn’t be in the game.

[TU 1978]

A BIG *** empty stadium. That place is huge. I mean it hosted a Super Bowl back in the day

47,000 seats. It’s not what it once was.

[TulsaAM]

It's........ RICE for Pete's sake

[TulsaAM]

A Tight End caught a pass!!!

[TulsaAM]

A Tight End caught a pass!!!

For us!

[TU Pilot]

HOLD ON TO THE BALL

[TulsaAM]

And we fall apart...

[TU1NNJ]

Hayes bailed us out again. TD

[TulsaAM]

Hayes creates again!

[Gmoney4WW]

Once again a game. Lucky the quarterback got injured.

[TU1NNJ]

If Hayes was 6’3” he would play on Sundays. Very heady QB

Doug Flutie and Fran Tarkenton would like a word.

[TulsaRising1]

Need a turnover

[TulsaAM]

NOW THAT IS SOME DEFENSE

[TU1NNJ]

Fumble TU recovers

[TU 1978]

Good pressure finally on Brown.

[TulsaRising1]

Need a turnover

See ! When they listen to me , good things happen ! lol

[TulsaAM]

Need a turnover

Go buy a lottery ticket now!

[Gmoney4WW]

Got a feeling the qb change is gonna win this for us. He just isn't functioning as well.

[TulsaAM]

If Paul Smith had a stronger arm same thing. But you design your offense around the players strengths, like Tampa Bay and Baker Mayfield

[TU1NNJ]

WE need a TD, hold them and us score on the drive to start the 2nd half.

[TulsaAM]

Crazy catch, sucks on the penalty

[TulsaAM]

What kind a f-ing play call was that?

[TU1NNJ]

Lost 10 yards

[TU 1978]

another tip drill catch negated by a penalty.
