I guess. Whatever it was he did not look good walking off the field.Maybe a knee to his head?
Looking at the replay I think he got an elbow to the chin. But he got up like he had a pinched nerve in his neck or shoulder, maybe a broken collar bone?Uh, what happened to that guy? Didn't look that bad on the replay
Time of possession is the key stat after the obvious turnover.

Here is a novel idea! Why not run a wildcat from the wildcat. Instead of letting the qb that you brought in for one fricking. Play to actually give it to someone else.Williams doesn’t belong on the field, does he?
I’m working on my GOI spreadsheetSooo anyone ready for basketball season ?
I would also say just don’t take your best player off the field. Hayes is a gamer. If Williams was an amazing runner it would be a different story. Here is a novel idea! you bring in Williams and everyone and their dog knows who is getting the ball. Stupid
I’m not sure that Williams should see the field even if Hayes was hurt.I would also say just don’t take your best player off the field. Hayes is a gamer. If Williams was an amazing runner it would be a different story.
Apparently that is Robinson keying on the QB right now.Rice’s turnover made up for our ill-advised changing of QBs in our first series. Now, we need a TD to start the second half and keep it a 2 score game.
We need at least one defender who stays with Rice’s QB every single play. He has 9 carries for 146 yards. The rest of the Rice team has 17 carries for 56 yards.
I do hope that at least one of our freshman QBs would be ready to contribute, if needed.I’m not sure that Williams should see the field even if Hayes was hurt.
I just hope he's ok... Dude did not look good walking off.Looking at the replay I think he got an elbow to the chin. But he got up like he had a pinched nerve in his neck or shoulder, maybe a broken collar bone?
This is the lesson Tre Lamb needs to learn from this todayI would also say just don’t take your best player off the field. Hayes is a gamer. If Williams was an amazing runner it would be a different story.
Yes, no matter what these young men don't need to get hurt. I looked up Dennis Byrd after I saw him walking off the field. I was in the stands when the Tulane kid was paralized (that kid graduated with a MD from Tulane)I just hope he's ok... Dude did not look good walking off.
That was the D line.Hold negates that big run play... what happened to the O-Line we paid for?
I'm pretty sure that's the game I proposed to the wife at. Either way, every time I see someone down for a while, that's where my mind goes.Yes, no matter what these young men don't need to get hurt. He should have run and taken the 7-8 yards that was there.Hayes had two people open and he went to Singleton who was covered, he will want that one back
A what?Wow! A defensive stop !
Agreed, that is a film room lesson this week.He should have run and taken the 7-8 yards that was there.
Almost forgot what it was !A what?![]()
