Tunsil, Does this have a happy ending for the Bears? I think not

Hot take: If Freeze doesn't come out publicly painting Miller as a wife beater (regardless of what actually happened), the current NCAA business is significantly less serious. He threw gasoline on smoldering coals turning it into a full blown forrest fire.

Just this is worse than the Redmond crimes which hit him very hard personally

and wasn't a cake walk for us. Things are lining up.

He served a seven-game suspension at the start of the season for accepting impermissible benefits, including use of three separate loaner vehicles over a six-month period without payment, a four-month, interest-free promissory note on a $3,000 down payment for purchasing a used vehicle and two nights’ worth of lodging at a local home, among other things.

Among other things*, got to like that.

"among other things"

Yeah, Paulling is definitely sharpening up his resume after that.

I always thought freeze should be held accountable for releasing that statement. Surprised Miller didn't name freeze in the suit.

I don't think there's any doubt about it. Very stupid move by Freeze. He should have been trying to smooth things over with the step-father, instead he went out and intentionally pissed him off even more.

The only thing I took from this is that it said stepfather, implying that he still is his stepfather. Wtf.

Wonder how RN's lawsuit is going?

Paulling should do a quick "breaking news" article and update us on the frat beat down.

Damn, what a shill...

I believe it'll be a positive day for MSU athletics when the Clarion Ledger prints it's final paper. An I mean that seriously.

I didn't realize this was all our fault until I read a few bear boards. They

keep this up and they are going to snatch our "Angriest Fan Base Trophy". They mad

Ouch, if allowed to proceed trouble with a capital T

If under oath any question can be asked and must be answered! Not sure you can plead the 5th in this case when you're being called as a witness.

I wonder if it's possible that Freeze's retention of outside legal counsel could have more to do with this than with the actual investigation. His name is featured prominently in the story...

The lawsuit requests Freeze’s deposition because it alleges Tunsil discussed the situation with Freeze and then “Coach Freeze and (an) anonymous source effectively announced to millions of people via a national cable network (ESPN) that Mr. Miller had assaulted his wife.”

It looks like we might finally get a legal ruling on Bruiser's assertion that perpetuating a lie isn't lying.
