Tunstall baseball coach.

I know this is a football board but Jack Bryant passed away this week. He was a legendary baseball coach, teacher and counselar at Tunstall High in the 1960s and 70s. He also played on the 1955 Wake Forest baseball team that won the college world series. He started for Wake at second base. He won a state at Tunstall and other region and district championships in baseball. Never heard a bad word spoken about him. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Wanted to mention this also. In approximately 58 years since the modern Tunstall High was created out of some smaller schools they have had only three baseball coaches. Jack Bryant, Owen Shields and present coach Barry Shelton. That is amazing to me. And a good thing also. Let's hear it for continuity and loyalty. Don't know if this can ever happen again.
