If you're around for lunch, Cafe 212 reigns supreme. Vanelli's pizza is also great.

Bella Italy on south Gloster across from Hospital and Nautical Whimsey downtown on Main Street for Italian.

Homers steaks, park heights, and Woodys for a steak

Good lunch spot is Sweet tea and Biscuits Cafe (in the back of a place that sells brick), Cafe 212 for a sandwhich (Honey walnut chicken Salad on sourdough is the tits).

crossroads rib shack for BBQ. It's next to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Oh.. and for breakfast... you must go to Connies chicken (across from hospital on gloster) and get a chicken and gravy biscuit and a few blueberry doughnuts. Don't matter if you don't like blueberries. Get some. Your welcome.

I enjoyed Kermit's outlaw kitchen when I went. Unique food and a unique experience. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Neon Pig is the last place I ate over there

and it was good.

I'll say finishing the road work on Main Street (E) is a huge improvement.

Elvis would be proud.

Go get a chicken biscuit with gravy and a blueberry doughnut in the morning from Connie's fried chicken across from the hospital.

Did Vanelli's ever reopen after the tornado?

I didn't realize that it had. I never go up thru there. I've missed it.

You're probably already eating. Kermits, and Nautical are good. Service way better at Kermits than Nautical but if you want Italian then Nautical is good just spotty service sometimes.

My wife also likes South and Woodys, Park Grill I think have been mentioned.

Vanelli's reopened on main but not nearly what they had on N Gloster before the big blow.

It's downtown now. They're focusing on lunch but are open until 8 most nights. Great pizza and salads, and Voz is as entertaining as ever.

Nautical Whimsey...or, as a friend calls it, the Whimsical Naughty.

As menktioned, Kermits is really good. Romie's grocery on the corner of Jackson street and Gloster is really good too. Its very close to Woody's.

Connie's FTW.

you must go to Connies chicken (across from hospital on gloster) and get a chicken and gravy biscuit and a few blueberry doughnuts.

These chicken and gravy biscuits got me through high school. Shiiiiit I wish I had one right now.

Connie never looked like the healthiest guy around, and that was a long long time ago. Is he still with us?
