It's all you really need. Especially if you have a .410 with a good choke combo. My son has a .410 with no threads and TSS will knock one off its feet at 40 yards no problem

It'll get the job done. I wouldn't trust it passed 30 yds simple because the smaller number of pellets and the lack of thump.

edit to add: Carleson makes an awesome 410 choke for benelli/beretta. I've seen it in action first hand.

Just bought a Yildiz and sent to Sumtoy in GA for turkey choke install. Added a rail and dot sight. Expect it to be good to 40 -45 yards. Weighs 2 lbs. I can’t wait to try it out

For a budget friendly gun, Yildiz are actually fairly attractive and shoot pretty well. Had some folks I know at a sporting clay tourney with their over/under and it was a nice gun. At first glance, you can't tell its not a high-end product.

This is my kinda topic!!!! Yes a .410 will bust one with TSS. I would highly suggest the Stevens 301 single shot if I was planning on using it forever....however I would get the 20 ga over the 410. The 20 ga gives you so much more everything(pellets, range, power). I bought the Benelli M2 20 ga 8 years ago and wacked my Mississippi limit with it every year. I've got an old 870 410 for my son but really don't trust it much past 25-30...just not a good enough pattern without the choke. With that being said just as soon as he can handle the extra length of my M2, Im gonna start toting a Franchi Affinity 3 20 ga. I've got the Affinity lined out with the Sumtoy .562 and the M2 with Indian Creek .555. Dang Im ready to bust a bird in the head now!

Just go ahead and get a Remington 870 in 3 1/2 magnum. Your shoulder will hate you but it goes out and gets them.

Bought a Rossi single shot for my son last year. Didn’t get to fire at a bird with it last year, but I knocked 2 turtles of a log with TSS at about 40 yds. One died instantly and other swam in circles for a bit.
