I do like your avatar, so there is that. but I don't share the opinion with you that Dana is comparable or better than Mark Richt. if that's what you're suggesting. I'm sorry that the Sugar Bowl has lost some value to you as well because it was a Richt-coached opponent. It was a great night to be a Mountaineer and the rest of us will look upon it fondly. I'd assume anyway. Georgia has had 80 players drafted in the NFL since Richt has been their head coach. I would rate Dana's coaching ability as poor. Or as Dana put it Thursday: failing. Of all things to argue, Dana's clock management abilities would not be something to get excited over. Since your valuation of Richt's career seems to stem from yesterday's FL game and discredits most if not all of his 141 wins and 9 bowl wins over 15 years, and since you're bringing Dana into the discussion, it may be worth taking a look at what Dana's done for us lately too. Thursday at TCU was a 30-point defeat, the largest defeat of the season. WV scored a whopping 10 points, the lowest offensive showing of 2015, and Dana made embarrassing national waves with a high five. Before that WV gave up 62 points to Baylor and lost by 24 - a team it held to 27 & beat a year prior. I'd imagine you know how Ok State went, the must-win, critical home game that could've eased some of the bleeding (we had beat them twice before). Before that we lost by 20 to Oklahoma. Dana is 0-4 vs OU. A week later, OU lost to 3-5 Texas, which begs the question if OU is in fact invincible. Our best win is beating 6-2 Ga South of the Sun Belt Conf. To you that may be equal to beating Tenn, Miss State, Ole Miss, Vandy, etc. FCS Liberty is 4-4. MD is 2-6 and looking for a coach. Maybe it's possible you weren't similarly impressed with Huggins' resume at the time of his hire either. He'd only won 23 games at K-State & was bounced in the NIT second round. That should've indicated everything.
