I think it was Bear Bryant who once said; "Never play East Carolina or Southern Miss for homecoming. At those places it's show up on Friday, play on Saturday".

UK, for their part, is riding high following their win over Southern Miss and our lackluster win over ODU. They are only debating if they can win convincingly enough to get Gameday to Lexington for their Week 3 matchup against UGA.
The crowd is going to be amped up, so it's a classic situation of needing to do something early to take the crowd out of the game. We can't come out and bungle our way to a 3-and-out on our first offensive drive.
