than the one Pace made. Never. And I have watched thousands. That includes football, basketball and baseball. The BYU game was probably the worst called game overall, but all the 17ed calls in that entire game couldn't hold a candle to Pace's call. I don't know what was riding on that one, but it must have been large.

You're OK sometimes Tusk but you're as bad as the sheep on Gene's page when it comes to ANYTHING about the tahd. You're player cheated in order to gain an advantage in the game when it was near certain they would lose. Neither Mike's discipline nor intelligence had anything to do with that play. He was deceived by an illegal and blatantly unsportsmanlike action by and Alabama player who valued winning more than his own honor.

Daniel Boyd causes Barker to fumble and Juan Long recovers the ball on the 38 yard line. State with the lead and Bama hasn't stopped State the entire second half. Game pretty much over. Damn official (the cheating bastard) called it a forward pass. Wasn't even close.

Dick Pace made one of the worst calls in the history of the game when he called pass defensive interference against State allowing ole miss to score the winning touchdown. If anything it was offense pass interference. Just an absolute terrible call.

You asked for two but here is a bonus. Bama linebacker (Sullens...maybe) calling the hut signals causing an offsides with State about to score the winning touchdown against and the official standing right by the linebacker......the linebacker bragging about his illegal activity after the game. Cheating bastards.............

Against - 1981 Egg Bowl, Dick Pace (may he burn in hell) and the phantom PI.

Honorable mention - the phantom clip called on the punt return vs Alabama in 1999, the "touchdown" for LSU in 2000, the entire ***-raping by MWC officials in the 2001 BYU game

For - Definitely Rod Gibson's TD in 1999 vs LSU. Rod himself told me he wasn't sure if he scored or not.

Watch a video replay. Our entire team starts celebrating well before the official makes the call, since they had the perfect angle to see it on the field. If it were actually no good, the celebrations wouldn´t have started until after the ref´s call.

It just can't be said enough...The officiating during that BYU game was just flat out atrocious. I'll forever remember the jumbotron showing Dicenzo Miller walking off the field and how upset he was. Brutal ending for him and that team.

I remember talking to an MSU player immediately after that Bama game. He said he was surprised Jackie didn't get ejected for what he said to the ref after that penalty was called. Said Jackie set a new record for F-bombs in a 30 second conversation and most of them were directed at the ref's mother. Apparently, Jackie had told the ref just minutes before that happened that Sullins was calling MSU's signals before the snap. The ref actually told Jackie, "Sorry. I can't do anything about that."

After it happened to cost us the game, Jackie lost it and told the ref he could go 17 himself among other things.
