I am not the strip club type but I am sure there are experts on that here. What do you like to do? Wait, lemme guess...walk up and down the strip in an Alabama hat, t-shirt and gym shorts. Aside from that, what do you want? Restaurants, attractions, shows? Lots of people here have Vegas opinions.

1. Hang out at the bar at the Mandaly Bay. Chicks are all over that hotel. Nevermind
2. I've only been to a couple of shows there: Penn and Teller and Blue Man Group. Both were good but drunk, coherent but drunk, helps.
3. At night, get knee-walking drunk, go to the top of the Strat and ride the Big Shot. It'll change your life. Its fun sober and in daylight. Drunk and at night is a different story.
4. Buy a day pass ticket on the monorail. Don't pay trip to trip. You're probably going to be all over the place so the day pass is worth it.
5. I've heard from a local that the steakhouse in Circus Circus is the best there but it was too crowded when I was there with him. Breakfast bar at the Palms is the best breakfast bar in town.
6. Fremont Street at night. Light show, music...etc... Saw The Band putting on a free show there one time.

ETA: Fremont Street casino table rates don't double or triple on weekends like those on the strip.

probably not in that order. Blondies isn't a strip club, it's a restaurant/bar in the area next to Planet Hollywood, which i recommend.

for clubs, you have 3 methods:
1. go where you want, when you want, drink what you want: will cost thousands
2. commit to a night at one club, negotiate down the cover/line-waitby getting a table and bottle service and getting there early. will cost several hundred, but with a group and multiple drinks each, it's not a terrible deal, if that's your thing. ('line skips' or 'passes' usuallyjust put you in another line.)
3. go after 2 AM.: no line, cheap cover.

Edit: If you're hot chick to guy ratio is high, you can get better deals than that.

PS: each casino is designed to make you walk as far as possible. walking from one bar to another one in the casino next door is literally over a half hour walk. but by cab, it's 5 minutes and $5.

sky diving without a parachute. They have special rates for alabama fans. Seriously though, I like the cirque shows. Burlesque shows are good. The best steak house I have found is Prime in the Bellagio (been about four years since I was out there, so that may have changed). I think there is a place where you can go shoot automatic weapons.

Any of the Cirque shows.

If you want classic Cirque shows, go to Ka or "O". If you like music also go to the Beatles "Love" or the Elvis show.

I am not a fan of the monorail.

Don't do shots of Jagger on the rooftop of your hotel.

Many of the Hotel's have killer pool parties on weekends.....The Mirage, Mandalay Bay and Venetian have topless pools.

There are several good clubs, but cover is not cheap..
The Bank, Pure, Ghostbar, LAX, Tao, to name a few....

Food: Great food, but I usually don't want to take up all the space for Alcohol.
Get an In-and-out Burger
Every well know chef has a resturant or two in Vegas(Emeril, Bobby Flay, Wolfgang Puck, etc..)

It's a block off the strip behind Bally's. I think it's a Super 8 hotel. Pay no mind to that. Go in the small smoky casino and get a table in the restaurant. Don't look for the steak special on the menu, just order it. Steak, potato, vegetable, and microbrew for maybe eight bucks? It's a pretty decent steak too, not a piece of tire rubber.

The last time I went I went to the Price is Right stage show in Bally's. Actually made it on stage and played the game where the prospector climbs the mountain. It was fun bnt more fun because I made it on stage.

If you don't like walking, rent a cheap car. All the hotels have free parking and it's much easier to hit Fremont, the Rio and the Palms when you have your own transportation. Waiting in cab lines sucks too. Plus if you want to see all of the strip from Mandalay to Stratosphere that's a lot of walking. To me, the car is worth it.

Final tip: go to the Golden Nugget and put $500 on State to cover against Alabama this fall. Seriously, I think the Nugget has several lines out for big games this fall. If you feel confident in the Tide, and I know you do, you can go lock in some lines now.

You need to go on the right night or there won't be many people and it's not nearly as fun. Find the hottest waitresses or hostesses wherever you are and ask them, trust me, they will know where the party is each night. On Saturday night everybody goes to Pure at Caesar's. On Monday, I think it's either Jet (at The Mirage) or my new favorite, Marquee at the Cosmopolitan. I was just there a couple of weeks ago, and it's the coolest club I've ever been to. You really can't go wrong at Caesar's, Mandalay, Wynn, MGM Grand, Hard Rock, or Mirage casinos, but Aria and Cosmopolitan are the two newest ones and very cool to walk around in. Most bars and restaurants in any of the big casinos are good. I like the sports book at the Mirage and Caesar's.

It's a cab ride away from the strip, but the view is very cool, and they've redone the bars on the roof. You could take a cab to Voodoo for a few drinks, then go to the Palms for the night. GhostBar and Moon are rooftop bars on the two towers, and of course the Playboy Club is there too, just below Moon. I went in to the Playboy, but it was a bunch of old farts smoking cigars and uncomfortably fondling the bunnies, so I'd skip it and go to Moon.

with the suggestions so far. I would add go see Hoover Dam if you have the time. The fact that they built that thing when they did is amazing.

Ask for Scott as he is the best and he is also a State Fan.
The ATV trip in the canyon is the best if you like riding on mountain trails. I would do the ATV/Kayak combo if I were you. If Scott is your guide, you will have more fun than you can handle!

Just arrived this morning, flew from San Jose, Costa Rica to Dallas, Texas last night and Dallas to Vegas this morning.

Staying at Belagio on my comp points.

My usually "plan of action" is to play as much poker as I can physically handle. It is that reason that I stay at Belagio, I can ride leave my room, take the elevator to the casino floor and right into the poker room. If I need a break it is a short elevator ride to my room for a shower or break and back to the poker room.

Tuesday, June 28, I will be playing in event #48 a $1,500 buy-in NL Hold'em event

Depending if I am still alive in that event will determine if I enter Event #51, a $1,500 PL Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or better event on Thursday, June 30

Culmination is the main event, I have registered for Day 1C on Saturday, July 9.

All WSOP events take place at RIO, if in this area of the stip and you know anything about poker it will be an interesting sight.... the sound of all the players playing with poker chips is enough alone to drive you crazy, and you quickly understand why many players utilize Bose noise canceling headphone until the money bubble which is also the end of being allowed to use headphones.

I have seen advise of others in regards to food, but there is one thing I have not seen mentioned in anyone's restaurant recomendations.

Del Frisco's steak house is my world favorite (especially after many years of living in Costa Rica and the crappy beef we have there!). I never miss a chance to grab a meal at Del Frisco's on any single trip to Vegas.

Cirque de Soleil has several shows on the strip and all are great to see, especially the first time. If you have never been to a Cirque show and can get tickets I highly recommend it.

All together, if you can dream it you can do it in Vegas.

Good party scenes are at Rain, great DJ's.... I am being told by my casino host that Run D.M.C. will be in the house tonight.

During the day the pool at Hard Rock is an amazing sight.

Hopefully you stay in and can post as often as you can how you did, who you played with, crazy hands, etc. Good luck to you out there!
