I'm doing some shopping for TV/Internet bundles. Right now I have comcast cable for TV and ATT for Internet/Home phone. I don't really need a home phone because of cell phones and I don't need the cell phone in the bundle package because my company pays for it.

I am wondering if I should get a comcast bundle for the TV and Internet or look elsewhere. I think ATT and Direct TV has a bundle package together.

Just looking for opinions. I like the Comcast cable because it seems like it is easier to find the State games on Comcast as compared to Direct TV.

I'm located in Tupelo if that makes a difference on the packages.

and pay around $130 per month. WIth that I get very good internet (good speed, etc.) and Digital Starter with an HD DVR. Right now I'd guess there are 30 or so HD channels. This does not include ESPNU.

One plus is that I get CSS which features State occasionally. Not sure if satellite has it.

It is decent. Biggest advantage is that you get ESPN3 for free. If State isn't on the tube you can usually pick it up on the net. Connect PC to TV and you have the game as normal.

All that being said, I don't feel one is moreadvantageous than the other.

What is considered fast internet? I have no clue. Whatever I am on now with ATT is plenty fast. Comcast has a bundle special on their website for $69.99. Digital Started and Performance.

I'm not really worried about the TV too much. As long as I get the basic stations and I'm able to get State games (CSS and Fox South and such).

More worried about the internet. I work from home some plus the kids are addicted to porn***

but make sure you get the sports pack with digital starter for $5 more. It will include ESPNU HD and NFL Network HD and all the fox channels.

go by a wireless router and set it up yourself. It's really easy. They even provide picture instructions. I think you have to pay $5/month for comcast to set up your wireless.

Get your internet through comcast or ATT or whatever company you choose. Then setup the wireless yourself.
